Raleigh, Durham, Chapel Hill and all the surrounding areas are one of my favorite places on earth and host some of the most amazing people. The “Triangle” boasts a very diverse culture in many forms and the oriental rug market is no different. We’ve cleaned everything from hand-woven, hand-knotted, karastan, tufted and everything in between.
The love that people have for their own unique rug never gets old to us because we share the passion too. We enjoy getting to know our customers and hearing their story and how they obtained their rug.
We actually cleaned a rug from a lovely lady that allowed one of her children to take it to New York for a few years and then down to Georgia. Only to bring it back to the Triangle and return to “mom”, who then called us screaming “help, it’s so soiled!” I’m not going to lie, it took us 4 times through our entire process to get it back to normal but it was worth it when we delivered it back to “mom”.
You see, rugs are not like an oil change or a trip to Wal-Mart for us. We understand that they are a part of the Triangle culture and we are incredibly honored each time we are entrusted to clean them.
